Congratulations it's a b... baby girl!
Hi there! Do you remember I've made this cute planes mobile for my friend who was pregnant? well, she isn't  pregnant anymore... Baby was born! and came with a big surprise: It's a girl! Hayle!
So... the little planes will not be as nice for her as I thought, specially because all she had prepared to welcome the baby, including clothes, were mainly boy's things, so she needed something to neutralize the ambiance something really girly...

 ta daa!
I came up with ideas soon and crocheted this Garden baby mobile. I wrote the pattern to share, so all you need to do, if you want it, is to click on it! I really like this mobile because I focused on how the baby will be looking at it so Haley will be looking directly to the flowers. This pictures shows a bee, however the bee is not part of the pattern I made the body following instrucctions from this book:
but I made the wings myself, I made them this way:
In case you don't have the book, I found a pattern online that could work, this is the link. On mine I made the legs with black felt the same way I made the bug's legs. I had made another with felt wings and looked nice also... It's up to you! This is just an idea, to set your creativity on...
Talking about previous projects, towelie is done, as a matter of fact I had made 2 already, will be posting about it soon, Dora is still around there but I'm not crazy about her hair so I'm stucked on the creativity process... Yellow has been started but I'm working on cross stitch this days... It's Kristen's fault, she gave me a kit to cross stitch and I want to finish it asap... other wise I know I will never finish it. I truly admire cross stitchers, if thats how the're called. It's just cross stitch is not my passion, I had done different crafts in my life: plastic canvas, foamy, felt, loom knitting, cross stitch, quilting, beading, sewing, origami, was learning to knit... but I like crochet the best! I can carry most of projects with me and it's so versatile you can make almost everything crocheted, plus has a variety of stitches to make patterns a little challenging and not so monotone as other crafts... Still, my respect to all others, I do some of all from time to time to keep me busy and spice it up a little bit!
bye now...
